Commission Process

WHAT ARE THE STEPS TO ORDER A COMMISSION?

1. Send me a message on my contact page or email me at shyfoxx9@gmail.com. Please explain what you're interested in having made. Detail and references are helpful!​​

2. Wait for a response. I typically take no more than 24 hours, but if 48 hours pass feel free to inquire if your message was received. 

3. ​I'll respond will a response with questions and usually after I have some answers I can decide if I am able to draw your commission. Sometimes I decline commissions when they are too hard, outside my comfort zone or for other reasons I will be happy to explain.

4. Once we've come to an understanding about what you want made I will send an invoice to you over Paypal. Depending on the commission type I'll ask for 50% to 100% upfront in order to begin. Once a payment is made I consider your commission in queue.

NOTE: The more you tell me about your request, the more likely it is that you'll be satisfied with my artwork.

WHAT ARE THE STEPS AFTER AN ORDER IS PLACED?

1. You will receive a sketch. Please inquire for a time frame if you need one. Typically it'll be 1-3 weeks.​

2. I'll ask you if modifications to the sketch are needed. Major modifications that require complete redraws will require additional charges. After changes, I'll get your approval for the sketch to move on to lining and coloring.

3. I will send you the line and colored progress and get your approval. Again, major changes may require additional changes. Changing the color of something would not be considered a major change, color changes typically are easy to do.

4. After approval, I will work on the background if I hadn't already (this can just depend on the type of commission as sometimes backgrounds are worked on after the fact and other times they will be worked on simultaneously with coloring of the character.

5. The final step will be an opportunity for final tweaks and then your approval of the project to complete it.
